BVIEC SHOCKERS TOASTMASTERS ELECTS NEW LEADERSHIP FOR 2025–2026

Tortola, British Virgin Islands, June 17, 2025 — The BVI Electricity Corporation Shockers Toastmasters Club held its second annual election on Friday, June 6, 2025, resulting in the appointment of a new executive committee for the 2025–2026 Toastmasters year.

All elected members will be serving in their roles for the first time, bringing fresh perspectives and a renewed commitment to the Club’s mission of developing communication and leadership skills.

The newly elected executive committee is as follows:

• Vice President Education – Sharie-Ann Stapleton
• Vice President Membership – Delight Charles
• Vice President Public Relations – Kamal Haynes
• Secretary – Shenelle Christopher
• Treasurer – Bevin George
• Sergeant at Arms – Tavonney Robinson
• Immediate Past President – Melony James

The Club also thanks all nominees—Margaret Greene, Shaundelle Leonard, Petra Romney, Dianje Brown-Bernard, Isaiah Jacobs, and Symorne Penn—for their willingness to serve and their continued support of the Club’s growth.

With a new leadership team in place, the Club looks forward to a year of increased engagement, skill-building, and continued excellence.
