BVIEC Celebrates Ten Years Of E-Commerce

This month, the British Virgin Islands Electricity Corporation (BVIEC) is celebrating ten years of providing e-commerce services to customers in the Virgin Islands and throughout the world.

On October 2011, the BVIEC officially launched the option for customers to pay their bills online. BVIEC is pleased to have provided its valued customers for ten years a safe and secure means of paying their bills from work, home or anywhere in the world, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The BVIEC Deputy General Manager, Ms. Symorne Penn said that the desire to offer convenience to customers was the catalyst for the initial launch.

Ms. Penn stated that, “Providing our customers with a more convenient and efficient service was the vehicle for our decision to shift to an e-commerce platform that would offer secure payments and the ability to manage their electricity consumption. As we celebrate ten years of e-commerce, we thank the community for your support and we encourage you to continue calling on us to offer convenience at your fingertips.”

Customers are encouraged to register for online payments by visiting: bvielectricty.com/online-payment.

BVIEC is committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience by fostering partnerships and safely developing the British Virgin Islands as it invests in its people and provides sustainable, innovative energy solutions at an affordable cost.
