AWARD OF CONTRACTS FOR SECURITY SERVICES
The British Virgin Islands Electricity Corporation (BVIEC) is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the tendering process for the Provision of Security Services at the Long Bush and Pockwood Pond compounds. The procurement was conducted through National (Domestic) Competitive Bidding in accordance with established procurement guidelines.
Following a comprehensive evaluation of all submissions, the contracts have been awarded as follows:
- Long Bush compound:
The contract has been awarded to Triple A Security Inc. at a total sum of $105,120.00. Triple A Security Inc. emerged as the preferred bidder out of six submissions, offering the best overall bid based on the evaluation criteria. - Pockwood Pond compound:
The contract has been awarded to Advance Consulting Limited/Eagle Security at a total sum of $99,000.00. This joint bid was selected for providing the best bid after concentration of risk, ensuring an optimal combination of quality service and risk management.
Both contracts are awarded for an initial period of two (2) years, with the possibility of renewal upon mutual agreement, subject to satisfactory performance.
It is noteworthy that no quotations were rejected from either tender process.
Objective of the Tenders
The primary objective of these contracts is to ensure the safety and security of the buildings, personnel, customers, and property at the Long Bush and Pockwood Pond compounds.
Scope of Works
The selected contractors will be responsible for providing the following services throughout the duration of the engagement:
- 24-hour on-site security services
- Monitoring of entry and exit points of the buildings and surrounding areas
- Control and monitoring of employee and visitor access
- Incident reporting and response protocols
- Emergency response coordination
- Assistance with evacuation procedures during emergencies and safety drills
- Ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures
