Applications are invited from suitably qualified Candidates to fill the position of Accounts Payable Officer – Finance Department.


The successful applicant should:

  • Possess the minimum of an Associates Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Possess basic book-keeping skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Possess a minimum of three (3) years working experience in the related field.


The entry level range is Grade 4 which is in the salary scale of $30,400.00 – $51,250.00 per annum. Salary will be determined commensurate with qualification and experience.


  1. Batch and prepare invoices for processing ensuring proper coding for review by supervisor.
  2. Ensure exchange rates are recorded daily.
  3. Prepare and analyse the monthly vehicular fuel and telephone bills between departments.
  4. Print monthly accounts payable reports.
  5. Prepare monthly cash flow report for monthly management statistics by the 5th working day of each month.
  6. Reconcile purchase orders to invoices before payments are processed.
  7. Reconciliation of vendors statements monthly.
  8. Reconciliation of credit card statements monthly.
  9. Prepare and pay all vendors’ bills upon approval and within the payment terms offered by suppliers.
  10. Prepare wire transfers and all other forms of payment for international vendors.
  11. Assist with the filing and storage of Corporation records, information and data, according to policy.
  12. Maintain a good working relationship with all employees of the Corporation.
  13. Any other duties as assigned from time to time within your competence.
