Allowing Popups For BVIEC Web Payment Portal

Internet Explorer
You can allow pop-ups for this site by following these steps:
- Go to your browser’s toolbar. If you use Internet Explorer, locate the menu bar. If you do not see the menu bar, please right click anywhere on the tool bar and select Menu Bar from the menu.
- Choose the Tools menu and find the Pop-up Blocker option.
- On the menu that appears, click Pop-up Blocker Settings.
- Add the following URL to Address of website to allow: https://payment.bvielectricity.com/payments/
- Click the Add button to add a site to your Allowed sites list. You should see payment.bvielectricity.com added to the list.
- Click the close button to exit the Pop-up Blocker Settings. This will allow pop-ups on the website that you are working on until you remove it from the Pop-up Blocker Settings menu.
- Select the Tools menu again and click on the Pop-up Blocker option.
- On the menu that appears, click Always ALLOW pop ups for this site. This will allow pop-ups on the website that you are working on until you remove it from the Pop-up Blocker Settings menu.
Google Chrome
You can allow pop-ups for specific websites by following these steps:
- Click the wrench icon on the browser toolbar.
- Select Options (Preferences on Mac and Linux; Settings on a Chromebook).
- Click the Under the Hood tab.
- Click Content settings in the “Privacy” section.
- Customize permissions for specific websites by clicking Manage exceptions.
- Add the following URL to the Manage exceptions: https://payment.bvielectricity.com/payments/
This will allow pop-ups on the website that you are working on until you remove it from the Manage exceptions list.
Firefox
You can allow pop-ups for specific websites by following these steps:
- Go to your browser’s toolbar. If you use Firefox, locate the menu bar. If you do not see the menu bar, please right click anywhere on the tool bar and select Menu Bar from the menu.
- Choose Tools (Firefox on Mac) and click Options (Preferences on Mac).
- On the menu that appears, click the Content tab.
- Locate the line that reads Block Pop-Up Windows and click the Exceptions button next to it.
- Add the following URL to Exceptions: https://payment.bvielectricity.com/payments/
- Click the Allow button to add a site to your exceptions list.
- Close the Allowed Sites window and the Options window. This will allow pop-ups on the website that you are working on until you remove it from the Exceptions list.
Safari
Safari for Mac OS has no per-website control over blocking pop-ups windows. Pop-ups are either blocked, or they are not. To allow pop-ups:
- From the Safari menu, ensure the Block Pop-Up Windows option is not checked. Un-checking this option will allow pop-ups.
- To block pop-ups once again, check Block Pop-Up Windows in the Safari menu. You can use a keyboard shortcut: [command key]-K. This will allow pop-ups on the website that you are working on until you change it back from the Safari menu.
OR
- In the top left, select Safari then select Block Pop-Up Windows from the drop down menu.
- The preferences pane will open and select Security on the top row.
- Uncheck the Block pop-up windows box.
