TENDERS FOR CLEANING SERVICE

The B.V.I. Electricity Corporation is inviting tenders for cleaning of its offices at Long Bush and Pockwood Pond as follows:- 

July 9, 2023 – July 8, 2024

Duties:

1. Daily cleaning, mopping and dusting of the Corporation’s Administration, Transmission and Distribution and Information Technology Offices at Long Bush;
2. Daily cleaning, mopping and dusting of all rooms offices and general floor areas at the Henry Wilfred Smith Power Station and Inventory Management Unit at  Pockwood Pond;
3. Vacuuming of carpets, cleaning of blinds, desks ceiling fixtures and upholstery;
4. Washing of all windows on a monthly basis;
5. Responsible for supplying all cleaning materials and products;

 The Corporation has the right to accept or reject any tender and to annul the tendering process at any time prior to the award of contract without thereby incurring any liability to the affected tenderer or tenderers and is under no obligation to give any reason for such action.

 The tenderers must submit the following:

1.  A copy of a valid trade licence.
2. A copy of certificate of good standing from the Social Security Board, National Health Insurance and the Inland Revenue Department.
3. Two (2) references.

 The tenders must be submitted in a sealed envelope with a return address and clearly marked “Tender for Cleaning Services 2023” and addressed to:

CLOSING DATE FOR TENDER SUBMISSIONS IS THURSDAY, APRIL 6, 2023.
