VACANCY

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Candidates to fill the position of ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – Generation Department.

  1. EXPERIENCE AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

The successful candidate should:

  • Possess the minimum of an Associates Degree in Business Management
  • Possess excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Possess basic book-keeping skills
  • Be proficient in Microsoft office
  • Have at least 3-5 years working experience in an office environment

2. SALARY

The entry level range is Grade 4 which is in the salary scale of $30,400.00 – $51,250.00 per  annum.  Salary will be determined commensurate with qualification and experience.

DUTIES: 

  1. Prepare monthly report in relation to employee’s attendance.
  2. Assist employees with written documents.
  3. Prepare attendance forms and follow-up with employees regarding same.
  4. Record and prepare minutes for meetings conducted in the Generation Department.
  5. Responsible for implementing and maintaining an efficient filing system.
  6. Assist with the preparation of various shift rotas in the department.
  7. Prepare requisitions for local purchase orders.
  8. Assist with the requisitioning of items from the Inventory Management Unit.
  9. Draft and prepare various correspondences for the Generation Department.
  10. Prepare all overtime documentation for employees within the Generation Department.
  11. Any other duties as assigned from time to time within your competence.
