JOB VACANCY – ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Candidates to fill the position of ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – Generation Department.
- EXPERIENCE AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:
The successful candidate should:
- Possess the minimum of an Associates Degree in Business Management
- Possess excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Possess basic book-keeping skills
- Be proficient in Microsoft office
- Have at least 3-5 years working experience in an office environment
2. SALARY
The entry level range is Grade 4 which is in the salary scale of $30,400.00 – $51,250.00 per annum. Salary will be determined commensurate with qualification and experience.
DUTIES:
- Prepare monthly report in relation to employee’s attendance.
- Assist employees with written documents.
- Prepare attendance forms and follow-up with employees regarding same.
- Record and prepare minutes for meetings conducted in the Generation Department.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining an efficient filing system.
- Assist with the preparation of various shift rotas in the department.
- Prepare requisitions for local purchase orders.
- Assist with the requisitioning of items from the Inventory Management Unit.
- Draft and prepare various correspondences for the Generation Department.
- Prepare all overtime documentation for employees within the Generation Department.
- Any other duties as assigned from time to time within your competence.
