to BVI Electricity Corporation (Official) Linesmen on their 1st Place Winning (Experienced Team Category) at the Carilec’s Lineworkers Rodeo held in St. Lucia on Sunday, April 16, 2023.
to BVI Electricity Corporation (Official) Linesmen on their 1st Place Winning (Experienced Team Category) at the Carilec’s Lineworkers Rodeo held in St. Lucia on Sunday, April 16, 2023.The team from BVI was led by Mr. Donaldson Hamlet – Transmission and Distribution Foreman and Junior Linesmen, Shaquil Samuel, Damien Richardson, Edward Pollock and Toriano King.
The Rodeo is a popular favorite of utility lineworkers, as they are provided with a forum to improve their technical skills, while simultaneously engaging in an entertaining display, in the spirit of comradery and collaboration.
The Rodeo events were Pole Top Rescue, Basketball on a Pole, HV Cut-out Installation, HV Earth Installation, Hurtman Rescue and; Mystery Event(s).
We are extremely proud of our Linesmen who were phenomenal and displayed their skills in this fun and exciting competition.
We also extend congratulations to all the other utilities and contractors who participated in this year’s Rodeo.
